Press Release: TUSTIN, CA – UNAVI USA Inc. announced the launch of a 2-channel dash cam called the UGD621.

Sharing the same compact design as the previous LFG521 by LG Innotek, the new dash cam allows customers to add a rear camera as well as a front facing camera. It also provides smartphone app connectivity and parking recording.

The UGD621 will feature 2K recording (Quad HD 2560x1440p) front camera recording.  The rear camera has Full HD recording (1920x1080p). The improved recording quality will be able to capture smaller details.

The UGD621 will also feature two ADAS alert features: Lane Departure (LDWS) and Front Vehicle Departure (FVDW). The Lane Departure feature will give an audible alert when the dash cam detects that the vehicle is moving outside of the lane markers. The Front Vehicle Departure feature will give an audible alert when it detects that the vehicle in front of it begins to move forward (i.e. at a red light or in stopped traffic). The optional GPS antenna is required for both ADAS features to work. The GPS antenna also provides location and speed data that is viewable via the PC viewer.

Parking mode, automatic low-voltage cutoff, and the high temperature cut-off features are retained from the previous LG dash cam model. The provided hardwire kit will activate parking mode when the vehicle’s ACC power is turned off.

The dash cam comes with a 32 GB micro SD card and it is compatible with micro SD cards with capacities up to 128 GB (must be Class 10/UHS-I or higher).

The UGD621 has an MSRP of $329.00 and it is currently available through UNAVI’s official website, www.unavi-usa.com/pages/ugd621.
