Trigger Wireless Control System says it has developed one of the first Bluetooth relays for car audio products and will start offering it to car audio dealers in August.

The four-year old company, led by Rory Connell, has been supplying 4- and 6-relay systems for use in powersports vehicles to control LED light bars and other systems.  It offers Bluetooth control, so lights may be turned on and off by an iPhone or Android phone.

Trigger is now setting its sights on the car audio industry, offering the One Bluetooth Relay, an individual 5 pin BOSCH style relay that may used with power amplifiers, security systems and other products that are then able to be controlled by a smartphone.

Users can control up to 8 devices with a companion Trigger app for smartphones.

The company is currently working with P&E Distributors in TN and is looking to add more distributors and manufacturer’s reps.

In the powersports market, Trigger sells about a half million dollars in products and works with distributors Tucker Rocky, Parts Unlimited and Western Powersports.
