Phoenix Gold, a specialist car audio brand, will be available through A&W Distributors in Dallas and may be offered through other select distributors, said AAMP Global, parent of Phoenix Gold.
The company stated that now that it has adopted a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy, and is monitoring its product flow, it is able to look at the distributor channel.
Marie Still, General Manager & Executive VP of Audio & Connectivity at AAMP said, “We have not worked with distributors since AAMP has owned Phoenix Gold, but now that we have a solid MAP in place, software, and a team that monitors it, we know that it is the right time to take advantage of this sales channel, while still maintaining the protection that comes with being an authorized Phoenix Gold dealer.”
AAMP switched over to a MAP policy late in 2016. The company tracks serial numbers on its products, both inbound and outbound, and its wholesale distributors are required to track outbound products.
A&W already stocks AAMP brands Stinger, PAC, Best Kits and iSimple.
A&W will offer retailers in the Texas area the full line of Phoenix Gold amplifiers, subwoofers, and speakers.
