In addition to the Galaxy Fold, Samsung introduced a family of four S10 phones Wednesday with a number of new features.
Each phone doubles as a wireless charging pad. Lay another phone on an S10, or set a pair of earbuds on it, or a smartwatch, and the S10 will charge these devices wirelessly.
The S10 has three cameras including an ultra wide lens that delivers a view 123 degrees wide, or as wide as the human eye can see, so you don’t need to step back to capture the full width of a scene.
Samsung will offer a 5G version of the S10 that lets you download a full season of a TV show in minutes.
Pricing starts at $899.99 for the Galaxy S10 (6.1-inch screen), $999.99 for the Galaxy S10+ (6.4-inch screen), and $749.99 for the Galaxy S10e (5.8-inch screen). Pre-orders begin today with shipping March 7. The S10 5G with 6.7-inch screen is due in Q2, initially from Verizon only, with other carriers to follow.
