Compustar Goes Direct With Tint World

Firstech, maker of Compustar and DroneMobile remote start and security, and Momento dash cameras announced a new direct partnership with Tint World, which now operates 107 franchise locations.

Tint World worked with Firstech brands in the past, but through distribution, rather than a direct partnership.

Tint World still retains its partnership also with VOXX and Viper remote start/security.

Tint World growth has become exponential.  It has over 80 franchise locations in development on top of 100 franchise stores in the US and 7 international locations.  It’s goal is to operate 350 locations by 2025, said Chief Strategy Officer Paul Pirro.

“As Firstech grew and as we grew, it became apparent that it would be best if we were to become a direct account so Compustar and Tint World could combine our efforts to help Tint World franchise locations continue to grow,” said Tint World Pirro.

Brands offered under Firstech at Tint World will include Compustar, iDatastart, DroneMobile, tesa tape, and Momento. On approval, select Tint World locations will also be eligible for selling Compustar Pro, which includes the company’s flagship remote starter with up to 3 miles of range, the Compustar Pro T13.

  1. Honestly this is a BS move my Compustar. We lost access to the top level pro remote because our company grew to 14 stores. We where told we are too big of a company now. We sell 500+ starters a year out of our location alone and do a ton of high end installs. We aren’t a franchise, we are owned by a single operator, and have no other compustar competitors in any of our markets. Yet we still aren’t allowed T13 or R5’s. Yes this massive chain with massive expansion plans is allowed the remotes that are suppose to be top level pro dealer only….. Massive double standard, and a case to stop supporting the brand after over 20 years of being exclusivity with it.
