Sony Car Audio announced at KnowledgeFest in Dallas this week its first radio that is compatible with iDataLink Maestro modules to retain factory features such as air conditioning controls, OnStar and Ford SYNC.
A new XAV-AX210 can work with all iDataLink Maestro RR2 and RR modules, accessing all interface features with the exception of the ability to work with radar detectors at present.
The XAV-AX210 is an AV/receiver with built-in CD/DVD that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has a 6.5-inch screen, 4 volt pre outs, SiriusXM capability and 3 camera inputs.
Shipping is expected this fall at a price to be announced.

- Rear View Camera Ready with 3-External Camera Input: this newly introduced feature allows passengers to see a selected image among three connected cameras; one input relates to the reverse while the other two can be selected manually
