Press Release:

MARIETTA, GA–Vickers AV, a 63-year-old leading consumer electronics distributor, will hold its annual dealer show on Sunday, March 4.  The show well be preceded by a full day of dealer training on AIS, Mobileye and Retrosound car audio products on Saturday, March 3.

“We think it’s extremely important to train our dealers on the sales, applications and installation of all the new technology we offer,” said Kelley Vickers.

Vickers is entering into its second full year as a RetroSound distributor. RetroSound supplies factory-specific audio products for classic cars. “Many of today’s classic car enthusiasts desire the latest features such as Bluetooth, USB and satellite radio while maintaining the original factory look,” Vickers said.

RetroSound was recently the winner of 6 Global Media Awards at the SEMA show for innovation and design.

Mobileye, distributed by Vickers, can help dealers tap into the lucrative advanced driver safety market.

Mobileye is now an Intel company and a global leader in computer vision, machine learning and more.  Mobileye technology is integrated into hundreds of new car models from car makers including BMW, Ford, General Motors, and more.  Over 24 million vehicles worldwide are equipped with Mobileye technology.

Mobileye’s aftermarket Collision Avoidance System can be retrofitted into almost any vehicle. The system’s artificial vision sensor performs advanced driver scene interpretations to identify other vehicles, bicyclists, pedestrians, lane markings, and speed limit signs, providing vital time to react and potentially avoid or mitigate a collision.
