The BMW-EVO iD6 TOUCH (SKU# NTV-KIT837) is an automotive safety camera interface for all 2016 and up BMW vehicles with the super-high-resolution, touch screen, EVO iDrive 6.0 infotainment systems.
The BMW-EVO iD6 TOUCH allows the integration and display of a rear view camera and additional video source into the factory iDrive 6.0 touch screen monitor. Dynamic parking lines that move in direct reference to the steering wheel position are standard and ensure trouble free parking assistance, even in the tightest of spots. For ease of installation, the unit is 100% plug-and-play, requiring no modification to the vehicle wiring. A video extension cable is included, allowing for installation of the interface below the radio, where more room is available for mounting than in the tight constraints of the dashboard (Please specify vehicle model when ordering). The included additional video input can be user defined and setup for automatic activation, on demand activation or timed.
To ensure flexibility, the BMW-EVO iD6 TOUCH can be used in vehicles with or without a factory rear view camera in order to expand video safety integration options. Coupled with the optional NAV-TV SVS6 Smart Digital Switcher (NTV-KIT592), the BMW-EVO iD6 TOUCH can incorporate up to 6 additional safety camera inputs including, but not limited to, side view, front, night vision, baby camera, caravan camera, cargo camera or 360 degree camera systems. The interface is also compatible with the optional HD-LINK (NTV-KIT800) which allows the display of a smart phone or tablet onto the factory BMW screen.
