Waylens has a good looking piece of hardware backed with good software, but quite frankly the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired as does their distribution model and go to market strategy, for dealers in my position. The best products continue to come from the Korean Blackvue/Thinkware pair, yet they do not have enough understanding of the market to develop something geared toward our customer, with the correct cellular plans and easy to use software. The photo above of the proposed Harman piece leaves a lot to be desired as far as physical design. Bottom line, I think the market for this product through the specialty retail category is ripe, someone needs to nail it before the opportunity is lost.
