An executive who served as president of a car security company for decades, has been named Director of Sales and Operations for Vision Tech America (BOYO).
Mike Northup, a long time fixture at Auto Page, is charged with growing BOYO business with both existing and new customers. His appointment was effective April 8.
“Nearly one year ago, I decided to give retirement a try and discovered that I needed to keep busy, ” said Northup. “With all the new products that are just now coming out [from BOYO], and the plans for what’s on the horizon, this is an exciting time.”
BOYO specializes in backup cameras, automotive smart mirrors and digital video recorders.
Northup reports to DK Chung, President and CEO of Vision Tech America.
“It’s my great pleasure to announce that Mike has become a new member of the BOYO family. I do believe that his experience in the vehicle electronics industry and his professionalism will make our valued business partners feel more comfortable in working with BOYO,” said Chung.
In addition to his tenure at Auto Page, Northup was recently Director of Sales and Marketing at Rydeen Mobile Electronics.
