AAMP Global’s EchoMaster is now offering its General Motors truck-specific blind spot systems to car audio specialists.  For the past year, the systems have been sold only through GM parts dealers.

The GM Blind Spot Avoidance Systems have perfect-fit mirror/camera caps, and integrate with the factory 4- or 8-inch screens so users can control side, front and rear cameras from the factory screen.

Side cameras are triggered by the turn signals so the user gets a full view of the appropriate side lane that eliminates blind spots.

The solutions work with GM full- and mid-sized trucks as well as full-sized SUVs from either 2015 or 2015 through 2018. This includes the 2014-1017 Silverado/Sierra 1500 and the 2015-2017 Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD.

Each kit includes two Stealth Side View Mirror Cameras, a module that plugs in behind the factory radio and harnesses. Drivers may view 6 on-screen camera modes and they can manually call up camera views.

The systems carry a suggested retail price of $819 and come with a three year warranty. Optional wireless trailering cameras and third brake light cameras are also available.
