A leader in the consumer electronics business (located in the east coast time zone) is seeking a Director of Marketing to establish and implement strategic and tactical communications plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand.
| Responsibilities:-Develop a comprehensive strategic marketing plan.-Conduct research and evaluation of vendor solutions and manage relationships.
-Manage marketing budget for all staffing, resources and capital purchases. -Evaluate new media technologies & perform market segmentation, targeting and positioning for each product line. -Execute marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows and other campaigns to generate demand and sales. -Manage and motivate team of marketing professionals. Requirements -BS in Business, Marketing or similar. MBA is strongly preferred. -5+ years experience developing & implementing marketing strategies with proven results. -Strong knowledge of marketing trends, developments & best practices. -Must have strong leadership & computer skills. -Excellent communication, interpersonal & skills required.
