ZZ-2 announced an all-in-one interface for adding wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and front and rear camera inputs to many Porsche vehicles, without the need for an external module.
A startup company, RDV Automotive, also announced it will offer an all-in-one wireless CarPlay-only kit for Porsche vehicles with the PCM3.1 system.
ZZ-2’s IT3-PCM31 kit consists of a PCB board that installs inside the car radio and allows users to retain the factory mic and Bluetooth so no extra modules are required. This is especially helpful in sports cars, where there is limited space behind the dashboard.
The ZZ-2 IT3-PCM31 works with Porsches using the PCM31 system. It will be available starting July 11.
