A lot of vocational programs in school (literally) shift with which way the wind is blowing in the way of funding, so “green energy” is kind of the soup du jour at the moment. Combining an automotive-based vocation with audio and electronics, something that many young students relate more with, is a great way to get schools to notice and revise or resurrect a program. I was a judge at these contests for many years and was always amazed at the quality of individuals in these programs and I know they’d all be assets to a growing retail installation environment! Kudos to Chris Jack and everyone else from Industry participating!
