Alpine Electronics of America introduced two new Dual 8” Alpine Halo preloaded truck subwoofer enclosures designed for the space underneath the backseat.
The enclosures include Alpine 8” S-Series and R2-Series subwoofers and feature an adjustable linking design.
The subwoofers are linked by a ProLink bracket that can adjust from 50”-40” to fit most full-sized trucks including Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. Height-adjustable “feet” accommodate uneven truck floors for a secure install.
The enclosures include an amplifier mount tray that’s optimized for Alpine’s mono power amplifiers. The design allows the entire system to fit under the truck seat.
The enclosure with the S-Series subwoofers handles 600W RMS (S-DB8V-TRK) and the version with R2-Series subwoofers handles 750W RMS (R2-DB8V-TRK).
Both use dual voice coil drivers, wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load.
They ship this month at a MAP of $799.95 and $699.95 respectively.
