ZZ-2, the two year old interface company that sells adapters to add wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Wireless to vehicles, announced it is offering a new interface for select Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram vehicles.

The new IT2-JGC works with 8-inch Uconnect radios so that wireless CarPlay or Android Auto Wireless can be controlled from the factory radio and appear on the radio screen.

ZZ-2 has made a name for itself supporting wireless CarPlay. “Ninety-nine percent of the people that buy the interfaces use it for wireless versus wired,” said Rich De Sclafani. (The interfaces may be set up for either wired or wireless functions).

“Everyone wants wireless. At one point, we had some interfaces that were wired only and they never sold,” he added.

With the ZZ-2 interfaces wireless CarPlay/Android Auto automatically launch without a cord connection to the radio. The radio simply recognizes the phone in your pocket or purse.

The new Dodge interface also includes a backup camera input (with dynamic moving lines) and a front camera input (with parking mode and forced front camera).  Users also get smartphone mirroring/Mirror Link.

The IT2-JGC works with the following Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram vehicles:

  1. Taking apart the screen is very dangerous plus you have only two lines of icons instead of three, just installed a unit that plug and play from the back of the radio and give you three lines of icon
