Press Release: Holly Hill, FL– Metra Electronics launched new lighting and aftermarket accessories designed to fit 2020-up Jeep Gladiator JT and 2018-up Jeep Wrangler JL models at the 2021 SEMA Show. Metra expanded its Jeep Accessories lline to include a plug-n-play RGB lighting kit, a replacement grille, hood trim light, and power connection accessories.

Plug-N-Play RGB Lighting Kit
One kit has everything needed to light the wheel well, add a rear, front, and side underglow, light the front and rear footwells, and add a backlit grille with RGB LED lights controlled by a smartphone app. The new JP-RGBKT-1 kit is easy to install with plug-n-play connections, less wiring, and one controller for the smartphone app to sync everything together. It also has expandable options compatible with Metra’s Heise® Infinite Series RGB lightbars and cube-style lights to use the same controller and app. This kit is designed with plug-n-play connections for Jeep Gladiator JT and Wrangler JL models* with mounting hardware and extension cables included. It is rated IP67 and has dual interior and exterior connections to the controller for maximum current and even illumination. Using the smartphone app, users can choose from 16 million different color options using the Metra RGB smartphone app with pre-built lighting transitions, flash patterns, and more.

DRL Adapter Harness for Lighting Accessories
Metra’s JP-LAH1 harness is used to safely add aftermarket lighting without overloading the factory circuits. It is designed to tap into the DRL and running light circuits and has 2 quick disconnect accessory plugs with 15-amp fuses. A 12-gauge power wire leads to the vehicle’s battery and includes a 30-amp in-line fuse.
