New Alpine Modular Halo Subwoofer Enclosures

Alpine (Alps Alpine North America) is shipping two new dual 8-Inch Alpine Halo preloaded truck enclosures that easily link together and are designed to fit underneath a truck’s rear seat.

The sub enclosures are loaded with Alpine 8-inch S-Series or R-Series subwoofers with a ProLink bracket that can adjust from 40-inches to 51 inches.  They can fit most full-size truck applications, including the 2018-Up RAM 1500 (crew cab), 2015-Up Ford F-150 (crew cab), 2018-Up GMC Sierra/Chevrolet Silverado (crew cab), 2011 – 2018 Jeep® Wrangler (in cargo area), and 2020 – Up Jeep Gladiator. Height-adjustable “feet” accommodate uneven truck floors for a secure install.

Centered in the enclosures is an amplifier mount tray that’s optimized for Alpine’s mono power amplifiers.

The 8-inch subwoofers are tuned for the cabin environment of the trucks. The RMS S-DB8V-TRK handles 600 watts and the  RMS R2-DB8V-TRK handles 750 watts.

The enclosures were designed with dual voice coil drivers, wired in parallel for a 2Ω load to take the guesswork out of choosing an amplifier that’s compatible in power rating.

Minimum advertised price for the enclosures are $699.95 and $799.95.
