Infinity First Harley Drop-In Speakers

Infinity is shipping its first specialized Harley-Davidson drop-in speakers.  One of the speakers is designed to drop into numerous locations on late model Harleys without any modifications, and a second 6 x 9 speaker fits in saddlebags.

Both are waterproof with an IPX5 rating. They have a removable tweeter to act as either a coaxial or separate components.  Both work with 2014 and later Harley touring bikes.

The Kappa Perfect speakers were soft launched last month. One hundred pairs were air shipped for test sales at various dealers.  Full shipping is this month.

A 6.5-inch model fits in the lower speaker pod on a Harley crash bar, and in the faring on a Road Glide and on certain bikes with speakers in the rear.

The 6 by 9 speaker mounts in the saddle bags. There’s a template to cut out the lid and spacers and a grille to fit the saddle bags.

The speakers include neodymium magnets and basalt fiber woofer cones. They use 1-inch Edge-driven Polyphenylene Sulfide dome tweeters.

Infinity is looking at offering Harley-specific amplifiers and subwoofers in the future said Shawn Spedding, Director of Sales, Mobile Audio Aftermarket at HARMAN.
