Unusual Saddle Bag Audio From Precision Power

Precision Power Saddle Bag Audio

Epsilon Electronics is entering the motorcycle audio market under the Precision Power brand with a unique saddle bag audio system that uses a special membrane that sits over small holes in the bottom of the saddle bag.

The system includes a subwoofer for one or each saddle bag with quick release plugs for removal. The subwoofers are joined by a 300 watt amplifier.

Each subwoofer comes with a hydrophobic membrane that is placed over approximate one inch holes in the bottom of the saddle bags. The membrane allows sound to pass through while keeping the elements out.

The design was inspired by underwater lighting plugs and wiring solutions, said Epsilon.

The drop-in, down-firing subwoofers measure approximately 6 x 8 inches.  They are waterproof and come with plug and play wiring that plugs behind the radio.

The system will ship around the time of the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas (November 2-5), where it will be on display.

The Motorcycle Audio by Precision Power line also includes a head unit–one of the first dedicated motorcycle radios to include CarPlay and Android Auto.

Precision Power said it will announce pricing and programs before the SEMA Show. The motorcycle products provide 55 – 70 points in dealer margins, it said.

A website for the line may be found at MotorcycleAudio.com.

Motorcycle Audio by Precision Power includes:

  • Plug-n-Play Apple CarPlay and Android Auto head unit replacement
  • Speakers w/ Neodymium Technology, Lower Fairings, Fairing Speaker Replacement Kits.
  • Drop-in Powered Subwoofer Enclosures made from industrial grade rotational molding
