Press Release: Steven Rogers has joined Lucas Lighting in a key role as National Sales Manager. Rogers, a 37 year veteran of the electronics industry, spent 13 years in specialty retailing, and the last 24 years as a manufacturer’s representative, rep principal and factory territory sales manager. “I have been fortunate to work with many of the finest companies and people in the segment during my career, and believe we can build something truly special at Lucas Lighting,” says Rogers.
Just after publicly launching as Lucas Lighting this last year, COVID-19 swept the country with lockdowns and uncertainty. Regardless, Lucas Lighting continued to release new products throughout, such as the H2L HID to LED replacement bulbs, the L3 – Series high output LED bulbs and the L1-Series economy LED bulbs. All series set new standards for reliability, light output and correct focus points.
“Even though our focus had not been to add many dealers, we increased our business incredibly (up 800%). The performance and durability of our products have won over a lot of people to Lucas Lighting. Curious dealers that have tried our bulbs have all switched over to Lucas Lighting. After trying the bulbs, even dealers that had once given up on the lighting industry have started back again into the lighting business,” said Mike Hong, President, Lucas Lighting
In January 2021, Lucas Lighting introduced the L4 – Series LED bulb that is designed to provide light bar performance without the need to install one. “We found that a lot of off road vehicles want the high level of performance that a light bar can give but do not like the installation and cost factor associated with them. Our LED bulbs allow installation in the high beam housing and give the same light output you can gain from most light bars. With the growing business and demand, Lucas Lighting has increased its inventory levels and has plans for additional fulfillment centers. A West Coast facility will open later this year.
