The Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) announced its annual award winners last night led by the new 2020 Installer of the Year, Justin Kush of Mobile Toys, Inc; College Station TX (pictured above).
Runner up for the coveted industry award was Dean Beyett of Five Star Car Stereo, FL.
Retailer of the Year awards went to Car-Tunes, Greenville, MS and Devine Concepts, Naples, FL
A Career Achievement Award was given to Tom Malone, former President of VOXX Advanced Solutions who passed away tragically this year. MEA President Chris Cook said Malone helped to grow the car audio and advanced safety industries, and was a mentor and friend to many in the industry. The award was accepted by his daughter who worked with him for 13 years, Caitlin Marinaro. Also honored were others who passed away this year including Lucas Abraham, Joseph Andrews, Steve Fahlmark, Chris Fierek, Jay Kent, and Lukas Louw.
