BOSS Audio Systems announced its first large screen, low priced car audio decks as well as its first all wireless, CarPlay and Android Auto 6.75 inch deck.
All are under the BOSS Elite line for specialists with Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP), said the company.
The new mechless (no DVD) radio with 10.1-inch screens are the BE10ACP-C and BE10ACP, single DIN units that come with double DIN adaptors. The BE10ACP-C adds a license plate backup camera at $319.99 MAP while the base model has one of the lowest industry prices of $299.99 MAP. Similarly, the 9-inch mechless models are the BE9ACP and BE9ACP-C with backup camera at $279.999 and $299, respectively.
BOSS said its 6.75-inch mechless model BE950WCPA ($399 MAP) is the first from a non-Japanese supplier to offer wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.
The line also includes five other models in total ranging from $179.99 to $399.99, with screens starting at 6.2 inches.
“Boss Elite has limited distribution and online policing through Track Street. We work with select retailers. Car Toys is our authorized online reseller; the rest are brick and mortar. It’s built for the specialist retailers and still gives them really strong margins and at an opening price point,” said BOSS Elite National Sales Manager Jason Hannon.
BOSS Elite provides a 3-year warranty.
