Press Release: DES MOINES, IA–Mid-State Distribution announced the promotion of Sean Davis to Operations Manager at the Mid-State Chicago Branch.
Davis has over 25 years experience in the 12 Volt Industry and will be an asset as we continue to grow the Mid-State Distributing Chicago Branch (formally AM Distributors), said Tom Kolar, Mid-State VP Sales and Marketing – 12 Volt Division.
Davis’ father owned an automotive repair shop and he found his passion in installing car audio in his own cars as a teenager. To this day, he loves working on cars – whether it is automotive repairs, adding sound systems or remote start.
Davis has experience in all aspects of the 12 volt business, from installation to sales, store management and more recently, distribution inventory management. He will be tasked with improving performance within the branch an improving efficiency in the sales team, and in warehousing and delivery.
“Through the years, I’ve been privileged to receive additional training from various manufacturers which enhanced my installation skills. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work
with many people who are still in the industry today,” said Davis.
