Press Release: Gardena, CA– Alphasonik announced the AS12DF, a 12” loaded subwoofer enclosure that can be easily installed in the cabin or trunk area for maximum use of space. The compact space saving design makes it easy to install in a variety of trucks, whether standard, extended or crew cab.
By installing the AS12DF enclosure downward, it optimizes bass response with superior efficiency for a rich deep low frequency response. The Shallow Series Subwoofer that comes preloaded in the AS Series utilizes an oversized Spun Aluminum Cone structure that provides greater cone and gasket surface without changing its standard external dimension. This cone surface allows the subwoofer to produce louder deeper bass by moving more air.
The cone is bonded to a High Strength Rubber EPDM Enhanced Surround to control linearity and movement at high volume. The subwoofer includes a dual layered spider to provide more cone motion control for optimized stiffness, stabilizing the excursion of the cone and support the subwoofer’s linear movement for an accurate bass response. Made of Durable 5/8” MDF, nailed, bonded and tightly sealed with a bonding sealer to create an airtight enclosure.
The ASF Series is also available with 8” and 10” subwoofers.
