Aunex, an amplifier startup company said it is now the exclusive US distributor of Digital Signal Processor (DSP)-maker Musway Technology Limited ( Musway is named for “Music is the Way.”)
Musway offers high end DSPs ranging in suggested retail price from $430 to $800. Aunex says Musway is a 5-year old established brand name throughout Asia and Europe.
Aunex, which is about a year old, was launched last year by Steven Bach, a former VP at PowerBass.
Bach said, “There are DSP solutions currently available in our marketplace, but having one that provides high sampling, high bit rate and is backed by a very intuitive GUI (Graphical User Interface) allows incorporating a high-end DSP that much easier. Most shop owners are open to adding new technology into their stores, but some are reluctant to do so as they do not want to spend considerable amounts of time tuning their customers audio system.”
Aunex says Musway makes it easy to tune, store presets and add aptX HD Bluetooth streaming to an audio system. Musway also offers plug and play harnesses for most vehicles. “Additional features such as EPS (Error Protection System), Dual 32bit, 330 MIPS TI processors, along with their Start-Stop Technology Control Circuit, help distinguish these DSP’s from what can already be found in the market,” said Aunex.
Product will ship from California starting in early August.
