LONG BEACH, CA: KENWOOD USA announced it has hired The Progressive Group to represent its products to retailers in the Michigan market. The previous representation for Michigan came from Tim Hill of Pinnacle Sales. Hill was recently hired by KENWOOD as Midwest Region Sales Manager.
The Progressive Group serves 28 states through 42 employees. Seven of Progressive’s field sales reps will support KENWOOD’s Michigan dealer base. Progressive operates six warehouses nationwide and is owned by Patrick Industries, a $2.3 billion enterprise.
“We have been selling KENWOOD via our R&D Distribution company for the past five years, so becoming the reps will be a natural transition for our team as well as our customers,” said David Russell, Director of The Progressive Group. “We share KENWOOD’s vision of creating experiences that exceed expectations and look forward to further developing our relationships with dealers in the Michigan market.”
