For the first time in over 20 years, DD Audio has partnered with manufacturer reps. It announced it is working with four rep firms, citing an expanding dealer base that outgrew DD Audio’s inside sales force.
In addition, the company, based in Oklahoma City, OK is expanding its inside sales managers and adding more customer service reps.
The new rep firms include Opus Marketing Group (Mid-Atlantic, Upstate New York, Michigan), Trent Partners & Associates (Metro New York, New Jersey), Ovation Manufacture Representatives (Northern California, Nevada) and the newly formed Vault 12V Marketing (Northwest, Southwest, Southeast, Southern California, HI, AK).
Other territories will continue to be handled by in-house sales, but DD Audio is also open to adding more reps.
“We are in an expansion period. We have more and more dealers coming on every year. We hit a critical mass where we have more dealers than we can handle with a small inside sales team,” said Kevin Doyle, Product Manager and Marketing Coordinator.
DD Audio now works with over 300 dealers in the US.
“Through working with outside representatives we will now have the ability to set foot in shops on a consistent basis that was impossible before. This will result in improved communication, more training opportunities, and a better understanding of the unique challenges our dealers face in specific geographic areas,” said DD Audio CEO Jassa Langord.
DD Audio has also promoted several of its customer service reps to account manager posts including Tiffany Huffman, John Sumner, and Neil Boswell.
