Wordstream helps Google Ad word advertisers

Wordstream is the online advertising vendor of the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) buying group. It says it can increase a dealer’s click through rate on Google ads by 40 percent.

Wordstream offers assistance with key word search and advertising on Google, Facebook and Bing through its proprietary software. It claims that a dealer need only spend 20 minutes a week  to get the most out of his or her online advertising.

Wordstream works with about 18 car audio dealers including Custom Sounds, TX.

Its software scrapes words from your website so you are not paying for ad words you don’t want.  The software costs $400 and resides in the browser on your PC.  Then you spend money on the actual ad campaigns, which can average $1.80 per click.

“Google is difficult to learn on your own when you are running your own business.  They change the platform all the time and there are intricacies that are difficult to figure out,” said Ryan Deenehy, Senior Account Executive.  “There are certain ways they want you to write the ad and they don’t tell you,” he said noting, for example, you should capitalize each word in the ad.

Wordstream says it also identifies traffic for your ads that you may not want to spend money on.  Google may have your ads show up not just for car stereo but also “what car has the best car stereo.”

Wordstream says it has analyzed over $15 billion in advertising spends and developed algorithms for its software “based on data specific to your industry.”

The 20 minutes you spend a week consists of checking in with its software that analyzes your account and gives you a to do list of the changes you should make to improve your ad copy and control your traffic.
