Press Release: Las Vegas– Eton Car Audio of Germany, has announced that their new CORE S3 component system, has been awarded the prestigious Expert Imagining Sound Association (‘EISA’) “Best Product,” in the ‘In-Car High-End Component’ category for 2019-2020.

The “Core” systems represent Eton’s ‘Anniversary’ products, and are available in both 3-way (S3) and 2-way systems, as their “Halo” component driver series. These were specifically designed for use in DSP ‘active’ systems.  As with other Eton components, upgrade OEM systems (for upscale Euro Platform vehicles) and coaxial systems, they are designed, engineered and manufactured in Eton’s State-of-the-Art factory Neu Ulm Germany.

The CORE component systems use Eton’s ‘core’ technologies adapted from their esoteric home audio raw drivers, including their unique, 28mm (1.1”), edge-damped, ceramic alloy dome tweeter, which uses an exotic, “Keronite” composite dome technology, delivering flat-response out well beyond 20 kHz.

In addition, the 165 mm aluminum cast-frame midbass driver uses an array of cutting-edge, home audio driver technologies, including a compact, ventilated, 32mm Neo motor, and CCAW voice coils. They also feature Eton’s proprietary, ‘RCFS’ 3-layer, composite, Ceramic Magnesium cones, which offer the benefits of an exceptionally high stiffness-to-mass ratio, in addition to being extremely well-damped, to minimize any typical cone-induced distortion modes.

Eton is now shipping products from three strategically located, US regional warehouses, to provide upscale 12V retailers ideal ‘JIT’ delivery to the majority of domestic major markets.

Retailers who are interested in learning more about Eton may contact AMG at (702) 829 – 4155, or send email to [email protected], for additional information.
