MSC America, the distributor for Brax, Helix, and BLAM, announced that it is now the exclusive distributor for Stinger high end custom installed radar detectors in North America.
MSC and sister company Mobile Solutions of Canada began distributing the Stinger systems February 1. Stinger laser/radar systems are unique in that they use a fiber optic laser receiver/jammer measuring only 3mm so it may be easily hidden. A typical laser jammer measures 2 ½ inches or more, so it is visible on the car grill or bumper, said Jason Digos, VP of MSC America.
“Owners of high performance cars are very particular about altering the cosmetics of the car. The advantage with Stinger is when you install it, it’s virtually invisible on the car,” said Digos.
MSC will formally introduce the Stinger products at KnowledgeFest in Long Beach, February 23-25 with a training session on the product on Saturday, February 23rd at 12:30pm in the Seaside 7 training room. Jim and Tom De Wilde from Stinger headquarters in the Netherlands will be special guests at the training session.
MSC America was launched a year ago by Larry Penn, owner of the high end specialty retailer Mobile Solutions of Canada, and a former area manager for Elettromedia. He joined with Digos to open an MSC office in Arizona. MSC is the exclusive distributor of Audiotec Fischer brands Brax, Helix and Match and it also distributes BLAM car audio.
