Same here Bill. This is very frustrating that the Pioneer receiver I bought for $1500 just a few years ago, the SC-75, which is full featured in almost every way will not pass a 4K signal to my screen because of lack of firmware update to support HDCP 2.2.

Their interfaces are awful, their bluetooth implementations are atrocious, they do not offer firmware updates and HDCP requirements have crippled every home device they have made over the past decade (not their fault, but I have a 4 year old receiver, 2k$ top of the line Elite that wouldnt pass a 4k signal because the HDCP implentation wasn’t totally supported. Its now a 2k$ paper weight.)
