SEATTLE– The Elite Distributor Association (EDA), a 12 volt distributor buying group, continues to grow with the addition of Mid-State Distributing, bringing the group’s total collective buying power to $115 million, with a collective 8,200 dealer accounts.

EDA Executive Director Jim Warren estimates the total 12 volt distribution market at $800 million giving the EDA a significant share.

Mid-State becomes EDA’s 14th distributor member.  It has warehouse operations in Des Moines, Fargo, Omaha and Milwaukee and serves seven states including Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Wisconsin and Nebraska.

“With the addition of Dow Electronics and Mid-State Distributing our footprint is very strong.  Ultimately, we want to have the distribution base that can offer manufacturers a faster and cleaner way to bring technology to market,” said EDA president Josh Eatherly of P & E Distributors.

“Our goal from the onset was to provide a healthy alternative to some manufacturers and distributors that support low integrity online predators.  Our hope was and is to offer a healthy alternative that supports our retail and installation base,” he added.

EDA is owned by its distributor members.  For more information visit www.elitedistributoralliance.com or contact [email protected]
