Lakeland, FL – Tunes-N-Tint, a Florida retailer, hosts an event w/ Local radio personality to kick off Summer.
Games, Giveaways, prize wheels, radio personalities and more. That’s what this past Saturday’s Chillin N Grillin event held for guests of Tunes-N-Tint. To help kick-off it’s Super Summer Sale Tunes-N-Tint held a parking lot event the first Saturday of June.
Traditionally the summer months mean a slowdown in business. The same is often true for Tunes-N-Tint. This year a plan was put into place to help jump start the sluggish months and help keep interest and excitement going. It was decided to do an event the first weekend of summer, which also coincided with a Tax Free Holiday for the State on hurricane supplies. The idea was to help catch people while they were already out shopping for household goods and invite new customers to come and check out the store. The planned appeared to work.
Most of Tunes-N-Tint’s in-store events are geared around selling or sales. This one, however, was intended strictly for Meet N Greet purposes. During the event Tunes-N-Tint had local radio station Max98.3FM & on air personality Mike Lee doing live remotes throughout the show. For the Chillin’ part of the event there were corn hole games, a prize wheel, a BBQ grill giveaway, raffles and more. “Everyone who came walked away with something”, stated Cassity. “We gave away Koosies, Freesbies, LandYards, Magic Mounts and Gift Cards”. For the Grillin’ part of the event the team grilled hamburgers, hotdogs and made plates for every guest who arrived. The event was billed as a success and had a high turn out rate on a rain free day. “We were busy all day”, says Chris Rossi – Tunes-N-Tint. “I haven’t seen this many people at once other than Black Friday”. The Tunes-N-Tint team was busy assisting, hanging with and feeding guests nonstop. The hopes is the extra traffic generated and awareness leads to more future sales and helps start the Summer Months out on a positive note.
