Directed has begun shipping the Viper DS4 for newer push to start vehicles. Directed is also now shipping several new DS4 and DS4+ T-Harnesses for simpler remote start installation.
The new Viper DS4 uses the DS4+ platform, but without high-current relays. It allows dealers to save expense on those installations where extra relays aren’t needed.
It offers Bluetooth connectivity including “driveway range” smartphone control. It also has the ability to be configured as either a remote start system or remote start with security system.
All data, input/output, auxiliary relay, and D2D connections are the same as on the DS4+ platform so the the system is compatible with DS4+ accessories and most of Directed’s T-Harnesses.
Among the new T-Harnesses now shipping are the THFON1, THNIN3, and THHYN3 for coverage of Ford, Nissan, and Hyundai/Kia vehicles respectively when used in conjunction with DS4+ systems. The THNIN3 is also compatible with Directed’s new DS4 product.
