VOXX Automotive Appoints New President

VOXX International announced VOXX Automotive has named a new president, Edward Mas, who was promoted from his post as executive VP of the company.

Prior to joining VOXX, Mas spent 11 years at Invision Automotive Systems and 16 years at Panasonic Automotive Systems.

Mas is tasked with driving growth and improving efficiency in VOXX Automotive operations. VOXX Automotive is responsible forĀ  developing and delivering solutions for the OEM and automotive aftermarket.

“This well-deserved promotion reflects our faith in Ed to take VOXX Automotive to the next level in terms of innovation, market leadership and overall business performance. It also serves as a clear signal to the automotive market and our customers, of our heightened commitment to deliver brand-enhancing products and systems,” said Patrick Lavelle, VOXX CEO.

VOXX supplies OEM rear seat infotainment, remote start and security and other products to car makers including Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, KIA, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota, among others. In the aftermarket it supplies remote start, wireless entry systems and other products.

Mas said, “I look forward to drawing on my 20 years of experience across the spectrum of automotive electronics in product, quality, financial, operational and supply chain management to advance VOXX Automotive to preferred OEM status and a greater share of the auto aftermarket…”

Mas will continue to be based at VOXX International’s Orlando, Florida headquarters and will report to Pat Lavelle.
