I disagree. People are becoming accustom to the “floating” display. I hated the newer Mercedes displays when I first saw them, but they’ve grown on me a bit. We’re even seeing that type of display in new Subaru’s as well. Why not have an opportunity to sell a 9″ display to most customers, most vehicles. CarPlay has given us all an opportunity to sell higher priced head units for the past few years, but you can see the race to zero already starting by some manufactures. I’ll be happy to have a higher ticket model to offer with some real benefit.
