Audiotec Fischer, parent to high end brands Brax, Helix and Match, has announced a new master distributor in the US.
MSC America, newly founded by Larry Penn, a notable Canadian car audio specialty dealer and distributor, has been set up in Chandler, AZ to assume the exclusive US distributorship of Brax, Helix and Match. The company will be housed in a 7,000 square foot facility that includes a warehouse and a training center.
Penn served for many years as an Area Manager for Elettromedia, although he left that post three years ago to concentrate on his Mobile Solutions store in Calgary and his Canadian distribution company.
He will be assisted at MSC by Jason Digos, new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Digos is closing the rep firm Innovative Sales & Marketing, which he launched a year ago. Prior to that he served many years at Rockford and Elettromedia USA. Also Doug Dobson will assume the new post of Technical Director for MSC
New Brax, Helix and Match products, made in Germany, are planned for the first half of the year, starting in Q1, said Penn. A key strength of the line is innovation in DSP and OE integration into vehicles, he added.
“Audiotec Fischer has done an amazing job with DSP and OEM integration. But the word wasn’t out in terms of how good it was at vehicle integration. We’re going to make sure everybody understands that,” Penn said.
Penn plans to focus on product training as a key element of sales. The new facility will include a training area where dealers will visit for “hands on real world training in cars with real products,” he said. Training will launch in February.

Penn will continue to run his Mobile Solutions store in Canada and his Canadian distribution business.
Audiotec Fischer was briefly distributed in the US last year by Hybrid Audio, and for many years prior by Rockford Corp.
