Directed Announces New Lower Cost RF Systems

VISTA, CA– Directed is pleased to announce the introduction of our ¼-mile remote systems to help you cover even more price points with DS4. These remote systems include a new control center that offers a super bright theft-deterrent LED and valet button that connects to the DS4 through the bank of D2D 2.0 Ports.

With the flexibility of the DS4 and the 1-button ¼-mile remote system you can now choose how you want the 1-button remote to control the system. You can program it to Start, Unlock, Stop, and Panic or program it to perform Lock, Unlock, Start, and Stop – this is selectable during installation of the DS4.

“With the addition of these opening price points on the DS4 platform, DS4 can become the main platform for all dealers,” said James Turner, SVP of Product Development and Technical Services at Directed. “DS4 is the most flexible and expandable vehicle security and remote start system in the industry!”

VIPER branded RF systems available in January 2018. Automate, Clifford, and AstroStart RF systems becoming available later in Q2. The MSRP for both the 1 button and 4 button version of these RF system will be $129.99.

System part numbers are Viper: 7116V, 7146V; Clifford: 7146X, 7116X; Automate: 7145A, 7115A; and AstroStart: 511-TX, 514-TX.
