As of January 2, Focal and K40 are new vendors for the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) buying/marking group.
Focal, maker of high end car speakers and amplifiers has been added as a second “Speaker-centric” MESA vendor and K40 joins as a new vendor in the Radar Detector category.
Ryan Gunter, MESA Executive Director said, “Before we had two vendors in only a few larger categories. Now that we’re growing with more dealers, we need more choices to offset territory conflicts,” indicating that dealers who are unable to sell a particular brand in their territory, now get a second option from MESA.
All other MESA vendors remain in place, said Gunter.
MESA now has 59 platinum-level members and 70 Gold-level members representing a total store count of 265 and a buying power of $290 million.
Other MESA vendors include Kenwood, Pioneer, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Hertz, Audison, Compustar, Directed, Echomaster, VOXX, Jensen, Scosche, PAC, iSimple, AAMP of America, Atrend, AudioControl, Escort, SolarGard, Roadwire, Race Sport, SiriusXM, Waylens and others.
