What started as a small consulting firm in 2008 has grown into a Google-accredited agency specializing in brand-building for businesses.
No longer is Modern Media Geeks merely geeks. The team is now a professional agency and is changing its name and branding to reflect that. The brand is dropping the “Geeks” from its name and will now be known simply as Modern Media.
Along with the new branding comes a new strategic alliance with the award-winning creative agency D’zine Alaska. Modern Media was established in 2008 with the original name, Jon Dewar Consulting, by Jon Dewar, who then changed the name again in 2010 to Modern Media Geeks. Dewar rapidly grew the company from a regional entity to a national entity and has proudly been an accredited Google agency for over a decade. The company’s team comprises an Internet marketing specialist, a Google specialist, a website designer, a social media manager, and the two most recent hires: their key accounts manager and the new marketing director.
