Alpine Electronics of America is now shipping what it calls “the culmination of the Alpine Halo Display lineup.”  It’s new iLX-F409 Halo9 receiver has a 9-inch floating display at a minimum advertised price of $699.

Alpine said,”The launch of the iLX-F409 and the iLX-F411 signals a new generation of the Alpine Halo models that are a culmination of all the fan-favorite features, including customizable home screens, media expandability with HDMI connectivity, and iDatalink Maestro Module compatibility.”

The single DIN receiver offers CarPlay and Android Auto, and SiriusXM capability. It is mechless (no CD/DVD) but you can connect a CD or DVD via HDMI.
