AAMP Shop Local Ads For Car Electronics

AAMP Global has launched a “Shop Local” campaign to help drive consumers to its dealers.

The company will feature one if its retailers each week during the campaign to raise awareness that consumers can upgrade their car technology at local shops.  It will also devote advertising dollars to boost those campaigns to improve their reach, said Director of Marketing, Lisa Gibbings.

The first dealer featured in the AAMP campaign is SoundFX of Lewes, DE. After the first day of its posting, the shop received 77 views.

Dealers will appear in the appropriate social media pages for the various AAMP brands including Stinger, PAC, Echomaster and Phoenix Gold  The Stinger Facebook page alone has 46,000 likes.

Each dealer receives mention in a post with a motion graphic or video and contact information.

About 20 dealers have already signed up to participate and AAMP is inviting other dealers to join in.

“In a time of economic uncertainty, especially for small business owners, AAMP wanted to utilize its collective reach of consumers, to help drive awareness of local 12-volt shops, and drive foot traffic into brick and mortar stores. Utilizing social media, the campaign educates consumers on the benefits of trusted mobile electronics stores and encourages them that now is a great time to upgrade their existing vehicle with the technology features they’ve always wanted at a local dealer,” said the company.
