Kenwood, JVC and Firstech brands such as Compustar and DroneMobile are temporarily halting shipping due to state mandates combating the spread of COVID-19.
JVCKenwood is adhering to a California “Safer at Home” order for both “the safety of our employees and civic responsibilities as a company,” it said. While shipping is temporarily suspended of JVC and Kenwood products, many distributors continue to ship product.
Additionally, Kenwood personnel are working from home and remain in full contact. The company said, “Alternate logistics solutions are being explored, but no decisions have been made at this time.”
“These are very uncertain times and we hope everyone is taking care of themselves and that we get through this very soon,” said the company.
Firstech also temporarily closes its warehouse as of tonight and ceases warranty, and shipping operations through April 6th (tentatively). This is in response to Washington State’s “stay-at-home” order to combat COVID-19.
The company said, “We will do our best to fulfill all orders placed before 2PM PST on Wednesday, March 25th. Orders placed after that time will be backordered and shipped once we return. Please place your urgent orders for Compustar, Arctic Start, DroneMobile, Momento, and iDatalink products with your nearest Authorized Distributor.”
