American Bass for the first time in decades, is expanding into a new category.
The car audio speaker and amplifier company is launching next month a line of power cell batteries under the brand Stealth Energy.
American Bass’s Gurwin Ahuja said the batteries offer greater storage capacity and faster surge power in short bursts (as required in audio reproduction), than many current products.
The line includes six new 12 volt AGM (absorbent glass mat) batteries:
- Stealth 150, 15 amp hours
- Stealth 200, 20 amp hours
- Stealth 350, 35 amp hours
- Stealth 550, 55 amp hours
- Stealth 750, 75 amp hours
- Stealth 1000, 100 amp hours
“Our customers are enthusiasts and they are likely to require more power to keep their system running smoothly,” said Gurwin, adding, “In order to supply that power they had to go to another source. This allows us to offer products that can serve every part of their car audio build.”

We have a demand for them now for small car audio systems every one do not want the big dollar Lithium for now. We are working on the Lithium batteries as well stay tune.
I’d like to know the cost. Regardless they will be a hard sale. Agm are outdated and very low performance. 6yr ago thos may have been a good idea but its yo late in the game to start selling agm.
