Press Release (edited):

COLUMBUS, OH:  Columbus Car Audio & Accessories celebrates its 40th anniversary this September and credits their success over big box retail and online stores to the relationships they have built with their customers.

Columbus Car Audio & Accessories was founded by two Columbus residents in 1978; specializing in citizen band radios and car stereos. In 2005, the next generation stepped in to create Columbus Car Audio & Accessories as it is now; a leading provider/installer of mobile electronics and accessories for automobiles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, or watercraft.

The 2-store chain, owned locally by Todd and Danielle Hays, employs approximately 40 people, many who have been with the company for 20+ years. They are involved with many industry organizations, including MESA, CEA, and SEMA. In addition, they support several local charities, including The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer and A Kid Again. Columbus Car Audio & Accessories’ employees and many of its clients are more like family than coworkers and customers.

Many current customers came in to purchase their first cassette deck in the 80’s and return now to get their kid’s Apple CarPlay. These lifelong customers are a testament to why Columbus Car Audio & Accessories is the premier brand in Central Ohio providing expert product knowledge and installation techniques. These unique relationships that Columbus Car Audio & Accessories has with its customers are the reason they’ve been able to thrive as a small brick and mortar business for 40 years.

This August, Columbus Car Audio & Accessories was awarded the 2017 – 2018 Mobile Electronics Industry award for “Best Customer Experience.”
