BOSTON – Waylens, Inc. announced today that Tim Coomer has been named President of North America, effective immediately. As President, Coomer will have responsibility for all of the Company’s North American operations and will report directly to the Company’s CEO Haowei Zhang.
Coomer joined Waylens in November of 2016 as Vice President of Business Development and helped lead the development of its sales and distribution network for its initial product Horizon. Prior to joining Waylens, Coomer spent 18 years in various executive roles with Escort Inc., including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Product Development. Coomer resides in Cincinnati and will continue to work from its Cincinnati, Ohio location.
Waylens launched its first product Horizon in 2015 on Kickstarter. In the summer of 2017, Waylens announced its next series of automotive cameras, Waylens Secure360, at CE Week in New York City. The innovative Secure360 camera is the first automotive security camera with true 360-degree protection, capturing everything in and around your vehicle, even when it’s parked. The Secure360 line will begin shipping in the second quarter of this year.
