12V Retail Exec Appointed CEO Wet Sounds

 A long-time retail executive who most recently served an executive at Custom Sounds in TX has been appointed CEO of a prominent marine/powersports audio company.

J. R. Stocks, who also served as an executive at Freeman’s Car Stereo, NC for many years, will now take the helm of Wet Sounds, working with Chief Financial Officer Brian Dawson.

Wet Sounds said it has achieved double-digit growth year after year and the Stocks/Dawson team is charged with managing that growth.

Stocks said, “As CEO, I will be working with Brian Dawson and the Wet Sounds Ownership Team to provide the company, our reps, our dealers and our OEM’s with the direction and resources needed to assure continued growth…”

Tim White, Co-owner of Wet Sounds said, “…With the addition of J. R., we see even more growth in the future. J. R. shares our same passion for great audio. He also shares our core values of building the best products in the world and providing our customers the best customer service.” says

Wet Sounds is co-ownerd by  Brett Triola, Joe Mandola, and Tim White.
