Rich DeSclafani, VP of ZZ-2 in the US, announced he has parted ways with the company effective Friday.
“It breaks my heart to make this announcement after putting my heart, soul and everything I had into growing the ZZ-2 brand.”
DeSclafani helped ZZ-2 rise to a prominent US brand in integration, since its US launch over two years ago. It has since become a go-to brand for CarPlay and Android Auto adapters and integration.
DeSclafani said he will announce his new plans shortly.
A replacement for DeSclafani has not yet been appointed but will be announced in the near term, said Tiago Sperandio, ZZ-2 General Manager. He added, “Nothing changes, Rich was a great addition to our team but we still have lots of inventory, great tech support. He was a great employee and decided to go in different ways.”
ZZ-2 is based in Brazil and is a 15 year old integration company. It is a leading supplier to Volvo in South America, said Sperandio.
ZZ-2 has a tech support team in the US of three reps and a sales team, also of three reps.
