Press Release: Vault Marketing is pleased to announce Zak Dixon has joined the Vault family as the rep firm’s first Associate. Dixon will be charged with servicing 12-volt shops in the Great Lakes region. Dixon brings more than a decade’s worth of management, fulfillment, marketing and customer service experience to the firm.
Serving in multiple roles for Digital Design’s family of brands in his eight-year career, Dixon was promoted to Brand Manager of SoundQubed less than two years after starting his position at DD. “We learned a lot by doing,” said Dixon of his time there. “I brought people on. We handled fulfillment, customer service, marketing and of course sales, all in-house. We went to shows and met our customers face-to-face. It was an incredible experience.”
Dixon amicably parted ways with SoundQubed in pursuit of his Marketing degree. Upon his graduation, Dixon delved into an analytics-intensive position with the Oklahoma Lottery, then ultimately restarted his detailing business.
“We had been thinking about a fourth team member for a while,” explained Vault Co-Owner Douglas Dustmann, a longtime coworker at DD Audio. “We wanted someone who could focus on the Great Lakes region, which is a perfect fit for Zak. He’s very familiar with the area and has family up there. He’s already a car audio enthusiast, so we know he has the passion for it. It’s a great fit.”
“It got me back into the feeling…this is something I love,” explained Dixon. “I truly enjoy everything about customer service. To be the guy that has the information to give a customer, it’s a great feeling.”
